Overview

In this course, you advance your skills to a report developer level. With the fundamentals already learned, you continue exploring, in more depth, the advanced options for creating queries and reports. This course is structured to address the various stages of the report development cycle.

You begin by creating connection files, both simple and customized, to relational and multidimensional data sources. From there, you learn the techniques for creating data models that meet various user needs in your organization. You advance your report building skills by utilizing complex features in Interactive Reporting Studio and document management features in Optimize Studio. Lastly, you learn how to make available on the Web, Interactive Reporting content, such as connection files, documents, and jobs.

  • Equivalent knowledge of the subject matter covered in the Hyperion Interactive Reporting 9.3.1: Design Reports & Dashboards course
